Paula Patton

Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles and was raised by a middle-class family. As a child, she had big dreams. Her most famous roles include the thriller Precious as well as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a family of middle class living in Los Angeles and had big aspirations for her future. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother who loved to watch movies. Paula was a participant in co-curricular programs at her school and loved drama. She loved acting in stage performances with her fellow students. She was a part of numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as her career. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and was awed by her experience. She received a 3-month contract to create documentaries for PBS. Following the successful completion of the project her first job was as an assistant in TV documentaries. Then, she switched into producing documentaries. While she was happy with her work but she always wanted to be an actor. She started her acting career through a tiny role in the romance film Hitch which she acted in with Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared on numerous TV and film.
