Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. Her television show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK was launched on March 30 2012. She also serves as an on-camera meteorologist as well as co-executive director. Her book EXTREME WINTER was released from Palgrave Macmillan, on 31 January 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston, Schneider was the three-day reporter on special assignments who reported on the entertainment industry and lifestyle. She worked at WFOR-TV as a weekend meteorologist prior to moving over to WB56. She was employed in a variety of posts in meteorology and reporting within News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel along with WXII TV - an NBC affiliate station located in Winston-Salem. The other position she worked in was an occasional fill-in at The Saturday Early Show in New York City for CBS.
